Kangaroo Care Awareness Day is fast approaching from today and we are very excited about what the global will share with us in kangaroo Care in spite of the Pandemic. In this regard another country will join the celebration this year and we would like to give an update on this coming celebration that
Al Qassimi Women's And Children's Hospital ,Sharjah United Arabs of Emirates will participate on May 15th, 2021.
The Hospital is under Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) United Arab of Emirates and knowns as one of the busiest Women's And Children's hospital in the region.
This is the first time they will join the Kangaroo Care awareness internationally and this day onward will mark to community as they advocate in integrate of Kangaroo Care to every newborns and their family's in the institution the benefits and outcome of Kangaroo Care. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit is Headed by Dr. Mona Khalaf Head of the Neonatology Department and supported by Dr. Safiya Al Khajah CEO of Al Qassimi Women's and Children's Hospital.
