This year we join the on its 2nd Year International Kangaroo Care Awareness Day in support with International Kangaroo Care Organization and Neonatal Improvement Program from ministry of Health, Saudi Arabia.
Congratulations to MCH Dammam who lead the awareness which begun last April 22, 2019 and Alyamamah Hospital opens the Kangaroo Care awareness that represent 31 hospitals around the Kingdom, MCH Alhasa , King Salman Hospital, MCH Karj, MCH Najran, MCH Abha, MCH Khamees Musayt, Uhod Hospital ,king Fahd Alabaha and small awareness in every Region of Saudi Arabia.
As one of our initiative is to implement Kangaroo Care in every nursery that lead with 31 NICU MCH hospital under Neonatal Improvement Program, we trained the staff and professional guided with NIDCAP Federation International, FINE 1 and FINE 2 Training guided by Sophia NIDCAP Training Center and Chicago NIDCAP Training Center, we send staff for breastfeeding training course and developing a family centered care by promoting Kangaroo Care in NICU and to all MCH Hospital. We continuously educate the staff, the system and most especially the community. To enhance and standardized kangaroo Care in all Nursery.
