On March 23 is the Kick-off meeting for the Kangaroo Care Day (May 15). Ideas and the option to participate in the Global Kangaroo-a-thon will be discussed with the participants.
With Dr. Yamile Jackson (Ph.D.Engineer, founder of Nurtured by Design-The Zaky® and Kangaroo Care Awareness Day (May 15). She will present ideas on what to engage the parents and staff, and will talk about the Global Kangaroo-a-thon and the app that was developed to facilitate it. The app was funded by the Gates Foundation and Nurtured by Design.

- Parents or family members of hospitalized babies and small children.
- Parent organizations
- Clinicians organizing the Kangaroo Care Awareness Day (May 15)
- Clinicians interested in the developmental outcomes of the patients and families. CEUs are not provided.
